We were very pleased that local candidates for the federal riding of Oak Ridges-Markham agreed to participate in an All-Candidates Meeting sponsored by the Stouffville Ministerial Association. MP Candidates in alphabetical order are:

• Lui Temelkovski, Liberal Party of Canada (Platform; video interview 1; 2; candidate statement)

The Stouffville Ministerial Association represents more than twenty churches and parishes in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and area. The current executive president is Rev. Peter Pallant, Bloomington Gospel Church.

Our aim for the All-Candidates Meeting was to provide an information forum (not debate) to hear where candidates stand on issues of concern to the churches and the local community. This event was be a good opportunity for the churches and parishes of our community to positively engage the political process.
